Concord Village Rentals
One-bedroom apartments, from 626 to 759 square feet, are available for rent. Monthly rates range from $1700 to $1900. All are freshly painted with updated kitchens and bathrooms, refurbished floors, and dishwashers are available in some units. Bike Spaces
Concord Village has approximately 50 open bike storage spaces. With the exception of 215 Adams, all buildings have available spaces. The fee is $50 per year. Community Room Renovations
Plans for upgrades to the Community Room are under way, and the Board is in the process of reviewing bids for the proposed work. Future news will be included in the Announcements notices as well as on the Concord Village website at www.concordvillageny.com .

New Security Company
As of February 1, Integratas Security is serving as the security company for Concord Village. They will wear uniforms similar to the prior security company and there will be no changes to the times they patrol. This change was recommended by our management due to various unresolved issues with the previous company.

Communications
In the coming weeks, the Board and Management Office will be testing a new communications strategy. As part of that strategy, this Announcements notice will be released on the first Friday of each month and will be available via email. Gym Improvements
The Board has received numerous letters regarding the onsite gym and has decided not to proceed with plans for an upgrade to the entry system. The Improvements Committee will also be undertaking a review of the current machines and will provide upgrade suggestions to the Board for review. Due to weather-related delays, the opening of the entrance has been postponed. A revised schedule should be available in the coming weeks.

Recycling Reminder
Please be sure to rinse all food containers properly to avoid attracting pests in the recycling areas. In particular, pizza boxes are generally too soiled for recycling and should be put with regular garbage.

Brooklyn Bridge Rehabilitation

Seniors Gathering: Thursdays from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Community Room.

AREA EVENTS

84th Precinct Community Council
The next meeting is Tuesday, February 16, at 7:00 p.m. at Boerum Hill Baptist Temple, 369 Schermerhorn Street. Transportation is available to and from the meeting. For more information, please call (718) 875-6850.

McLaughlin Park
The playground groundbreaking is now scheduled for May 2010.

 The next CVOI Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for February 28. Attendance at this meeting is limited to invited participants. The Board of Directors welcomes comments from shareholders. Written comments submitted to the Management office by noon, February 22, will be addressed at this meeting. This will permit the Board time required for a thorough review of all matters.
